In case you missed it — we wrote about throwing a little crafty get together for you + a few friends. Since you know how much we love things to be comfortable and easy (like a nice pair of sweatpants) — we wanted to even give you an idea for the craft for your craft party!
WHAT YOU NEED
a bunch of newspaper. a can of chalkboard paint. paint brushes (foam works great). stir sticks. chalk.
When you’re inviting your favorite people to your fun, little craft party — ask them to bring a random household item that they wouldn’t mind painting. For our party, the everyday girls brought everything from cute metal buckets to old flower vases to a set of vintage glasses to metal trays.
Then — they sat around and painted! Shara painted a wide strip around each of her drinking glasses — bam, a place to jot her guests’ names at her next party. Michelle’s tray became a place she could write what type of cheese is which. And Kate’s buckets helped her get her magazines all organized. We loved seeing everybody getting a little creative + a little covered in paint.
Oh — and make sure you send everybody home with some chalk!!
